It finish.
This. Feckin'. Pain. In. The. Arse.
It finish. Done.
SO YEAH. I have been spending the last 2 months building this thing, a good old fashioned F-15 Eagle "air superiority" fighter blah blah blah
I built it using a variety of materials, resin, chemi-wood, and car body filler. I used various techniques too, Vacuum forming, 3D printing, moulding and casting, but the majority of it came down to patience, spilled blood, tears, a good bit of wet and dry sandpaper and a BLOODY LONG TIME. I usually arrived at 10am in the morning, set to work and left at about 9pm. Of course there were many mishaps... I managed to break one of the wings off much to my dismay, and set me back about half a week trying to sand off the filler I used to stick it together. Then I had to score in all the panel lines.
Just so you know, I am NEVER GOING TO MAKE A FECKING JET EVER AGAIN. EVER. THE PANEL LINES JUST DID MY HEAD IN. I spent about 3 days drawing and then scoring the lines, on the wings, body and fins. In spite of all the time I spent doing these lines, they suck arse. Many are misplaced and wobbly and I HATE IT. Luckily you cannot see them too easily in my photos which is why I chose these ones anyway djnakmfns, kabga
To the left you can see my "Sketch model" or Maquette, which I used to determine how the final thing could look. Background is an A0 printout of the plans I used to create this piece of sh*t.
"But I thought you said you'd paint it like Starscream!" I hear you whine.
WELL I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU
I RAN OUT OF TIME
I WAS WORKING TOWARDS A DEADLINE WHICH, SO HAPPENED TO BE, THE DAY AFTER I POSTED THIS. Hence why the cockpit canopy is gold C:
If any of you mention stickers or lack of, I will rend you from limb to limb and never talk to you again.
Any sensible questions about how I made it and what features this has are most welcome!

I made a F-14 with lego once. It was never completed because I tried to make "auto" variable-sweep wings (that means if I sweep one wing, the other wing will be swept at a same time, too).
